Historic Downtown Program

It is official: our 2010 calendars are becoming swollen with the goals and activities for this year. So, even though most are still hunkered down with the cold north wind blowing at their backs, the Historic Downtown Program is focusing on warm weather and ways to entice the community and visitors to enjoy our downtown.

The Historic Downtown Program has been pecking away at their Strategic Plan for 6 months now... our main goal is to get more feet on our Main Street. We hope that some of our activities will make their way to your personal calendars.

Historic Downtown Program is partnering with other organizations to spice up our First Fridays from May to September. There will be "Music on Main", shops opened, and the possibilities are endless. We hope that the Rising Sun Community Newsletter will keep everyone aware of what is going in our downtown and all around Ohio County.
